Ristorante All Angelo Venezia

All'Angelo Restaurant, in Venice, St. Mark's Square

The Hotel & Restaurant All'Angelo was established in a formerly 17th Century palace on 1924. It lies behind St. Mark's Square area, the heart of Venice, close to the most prestigious museums and designers' shops. Because of this priviledged location The Hotel & Restaurant All'Angelo can offer its valued guests the exquisite conveniency to step out of the hotel and find themselves in the most romantic square in the world ... and no bridges to cross.

From its start the restaurant used to be a kind of a magical frame of inspiration for great Italian and foregneir artists, who used to meet right over here to discuss about art and literature. Still now art can be "breathed" in the cosy rooms and small lounges: paintings from Matisse, Mirò, Guttuso, Braque, Santomaso, Vedova and many others of the 1900's can be seen. These are artists who gave birth to the "Fronte Nuovo delle Arti" (New Arts Wave).

The central location, the gourmet cousine and the quality of the service make the Hotel & Restaurant All'Angelo an important arriving destination for Italians and Foregneirs who want to live Venice and its culture at any time of the year.

This historical restaurant (the one that Ms.Peggy Guggenheim mostly preferred and where her private room, to her especially dedicated, still sees the table she used to reserve), also owns three private dining rooms (50/80 sitting capacity) on the first floor.

The Restaurant All'Angelo becomes the ideal place for cocktails, buffets, feasts, informal lunches or dinners and business meetings.

During the Summer months our gourmet meals can be enjoyed under the warmth of the Sun on our wonderful, 60 sitting capacity, first floor, outdoor terrace.

Most dishes taken from our menu have been created from ancient Venetian recipees, which our chefs elaborate in a most rigorous way. Our wine cellar offers a wide choice of typical regional and Italian wines.

The restaurant is open all year long from 11:30 in the morning untill midnight.
